The end of this visa is approaching quickly, so it's time to start planning a trip up north.
I have one more week left in Thailand, and then it's off for a holiday in Laos. I've been hearing some interesting things about Laos, and even though a week in Vientiane sipping beerlao and lao-lao would give me a chance to catch up on some overdue writing... the temptation of Vang Vieng has caught my attention.
Word of mouth to mouth certainly has that effect.
